I'd hate to have EoTN be a necessity since I already own Prophecies(I'm ordering EoTN off the web sometime this week though). I don't see how it would tie into EoTN at all. Its fairly far away from the rest of EoTN content so it should just be part of Prophecies. The fact is that there aren't any Elite Missions or Master level quests in Prophecies and that should be remedied. I guess if I want to be challenged in Prophecies I'll have to take off my armor and do the Titan quests in HM. *shrug* If it were tied to EoTN then you'd need to create similar areas on Factions and NF.
In short, either the area has to be Prophecies only or an underground Dungeon must be created in Cantha and Elona as well. /signed if either of those conditions are met

This would be awesome!

A please make it super hard. Most things in Guild Wars seem hard the first time, but after that they are no problem. This one should be made near-impossible, so that hard team co-ordination is needed.

Awesome idea. Skullreaver was a patsy back then. But now, a huge skeleton warrior with a battle-axe and 4 years to grow since the Searing?
And a easy drop is a reskinned Sephis Axe named...what else? Skull's Reaver.
oh and.... /signed again

Sorry, but I'd have to go with Reaver of Skulls

As an addition... or a warning...
Please, hard is awesome, hard is fine, but insane, so that the only working build for a team eliminates numerous classes...not awesome, not fine.
Design for a balanced team that incorporates an array of classes and skill builds.

To settle some arguments here......
Factions has Urgoz and The Deep
Nightfall has DoA
Prophecies has Sorrow's Furnace
Just thought I would remind the people who said prophecies has nothing. SF was added as, and counts as, an elite mission. It gets a Statue in the HoM like Deep and Urgoz and Mallyx. Catacombs is a nice idea but with GW2 around the corner it is unnecessary and unable to be incorporated into the game.
IF in the rare event it ever gets incorperated make it possible only with a full team of mesmers. Please. Just to piss people off and let them see how it feels not to be accepted into an area and NEVER be able to do it.
(Btw I don't have a mesmer yet I speak for mesmer's rights)

Besides development time and costs, I don't see why it can't be added in ala Sorrow's Furnace. How much work is there? The maps are there already, the mob models are there. Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V. Do it Anet.
Why tag it to GW:EN? For people who don't have Prophesies?
I suppose its ok. Just put an Asura gate deus ex mechana and we're in.

Yeah, the idea of an Asura gate has come up once or twice. Not a bad idea.

This idea has been knocking around for a while, but the elite area sounds promising. (are you reading this gaile?)
It would have to be multi layer, with the original area opening up to another level. If it was extra hard, the area where the Moa bird was killed could be used to house an extremely powerful nightmare that has fed off of the blood of the 'special' Moa for many years ;D
Also, think about the large semi-circle area where there were tons of skeleton warriors. The hole in the middle could have been housing one of the sleeping dragons. Going down here would lead to level 2, a dragon being the final boss. This would be a fantastic tie in to GW2...

Thank you. Like I said, there is so much potential with this idea. Between linking GW2 and plain fun, it's sure to be a hit.

I made a new Prophecies monk just the other day, and I was thinking about something like this.
